Key Responsibilities:

• Define potential network topology designs, conduct traffic analysis and Network capacity planning.
• Maintains the network’s physical and logical structures, including all network connections.
• Installs and tests network hardware and software, performs routine maintenance, and applies vendor updates to software.
• Responsible for monitoring the IP network and responding to outages.
• Design and implementing routing, switching, and firewall infrastructure.
• Prepares and analyzes statistics on network utilization and availability.
• Conducts product evaluations of upgraded or new hardware and software identifying strengths, weaknesses, and potential benefits to the company.
• Recommends enhancements to network facilities.
• Provide Router and Switch configuration – Routing-OSPF, EIGRP, Switching-VLANS and Trunks-serves as contact for remote network locations to obtain clarification of problems and to identify solutions or corrective actions.
• Deployment of Cisco Server in managing all LAN/WAN network communications infrastructure.
• Assists in establishing policies and procedures for use of network facilities.
• Assists in maintaining the local area network or wide area network, cable and hub installations, inventories, and other related duties.

Skills

Minimum Requirements:

• Should have at least 3-5 years hands on experience in the same field.
• Certification from CISCO or JUNIPER, MICROSOFT etc.
• Capable of working independently.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree from reputable university
