Java Developer

The candidate will be responsible for implementing, and troubleshooting software programs and applications. His main duties will focus on understanding design, coding, developing, and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle. He will also contribute in the estimates of the project, the quality and timeliness of the deliverables and the project’s compliance to the organizational processes and standards
Duties & Responsibilities:-
• Follow up full software development cycle (analysis, design, implementation, testing, documentation)
• Understand and verify the functional and business Requirements of the software
• Ability to gather business requirements from appointed focal points
• Ability to write clear understandable technical documents
• Understand the software design strategies and method Model for the system structure and behavior
• Implement and maintain software applications using a variety of tools and solutions
• Involved in developing estimates for the project
• Periodically report project status to team leader.
• Communicate with Team Leader for any deficiencies or conflicts
• Acts as second level of support for production systems users.
• Transfer knowledge and know-how to other developers
• Ability to research new technologies, tools and solutions.

Required Skills
• Minimum 1-3 years of software development experience using J2EE platform.
• Strong awareness of Software lifecycle
• Commanding Knowledge of object oriented programming
• Working knowledge of J2EE design patters.
• In depth knowledge with the J2EE platform development
• Knowledge of CASE tools (Rational Rose, Power Designer)
• In depth knowledge of various Database Management Systems (Oracle, DB2, MSSQL)
• Hands on web development technologies (HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, )
• Knowledge of web services, XML, SOAP
• Knowledge of advanced web technologies (XML query, XSLT)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any related discipline
