Systems Consultant / IT Consulting Services
at Al Alamiah Technology Group in Kuwait
Responsibilities:
Responsible for consulting to IT and business management on applying technology to business opportunities.
Responsible for designing, planning, and implementing systems as they relate to Oracle.
Specific responsibilities include the following, as it relates to Oracle Module: - Analyzes business and user needs, documents requirements, designs and specifies functional and technical solutions and provides project management through solution implementation.
Designs test cases that ensure that implemented solutions function without error or disruption to business operations.
Develops and maintains a complete and accurate understanding of how one or more business units conduct its business.
Maintains a detailed knowledge of the business current technology and infrastructure.
Takes ownership of problems or support issues that arise in the operation of assigned business systems, ensuring that all issues are resolved in an expedient fashion and to user satisfaction.
Works with team to implement and support in a production environment and participates in the ongoing analysis of new releases, including set up, testing and implementation when appropriate.
Works with end-users to provide functional and technical expertise for system issues.
Deliver functional consulting and education services at customer sites
Build know-how and develop expertise in domain field products.
Provide daily activity reporting against plans and schedules.
Engagement in projects may include various project roles such as project coordinating team leading in addition to implementation consulting.
Responsible for any other related activity as requested by his/her direct Manager
Coordination and dealing with government and private agencies to prepare cost estimates and budgets in coordination with the Finance Department of Divan.
Development of the TORs and technical specifications for information technology projects
Work of the feasibility studies for projects in the field of Information Technology
Follow-up reports to complete projects
Follow-up of the contract and full implementation of the contract clauses.
Skills
Qualifications:
A university degree or higher in the related field
Masters Degree is a plus
Training Programs:
Advanced training courses in different IT field and operating systems
Training courses in Oracle (Database / Analysis tools / Design / Programming)
Training courses in project management
Experience:
Not less than 20 years experience in the following areas:
Languages and tools to develop applications in the field of modern Oracle
Strategic planning for government
Follow-up, implementation and maintenance of government applications
Strong knowledge and experience with Oracle technology.
Strong knowledge in government budgeting preparations and execution is plus
Leading a team for a big government projects including analysis & design.
Strong knowledge in government services (Gov. to Emp. / Gov. to Gov.)
Presentation skills
Experience in QA
Project Planning and time management
Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact effectively with others
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project
Education
A university degree or higher in the related field, Masters Degree is a plus
